Worth to mention a great performance of American Milton Doyle (193-1993, college: Loyola, IL) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 5 assists. The former international point guard Jorge Pacheco (188-1998, college: Liberty, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 15 points and 5 assists for the winners. Serbian-American power forward Nick Rakocevic (211-1997, college: USC, agency: Slash Sports) answered with 13 points and 6 rebounds for Aguada. Santeros will play next round against strong Bayamon trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Indios will try to continue on its current victory against Ponce in Juana Diaz.
Piratas defeated Criollos in Quebradillas 91-85. Panamanian-Mexican center Joshua Ibarra (211-1995, college: HCU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 18 rebounds for the winners and Emmanuel Mudiay chipped in 22 points. At the losing side Panamanian-American center Akil Mitchell (206-1992, college: Virginia) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Criollos' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Criollos will play next round against strong Santurce trying to get back on the winning streak. Piratas will try to continue on its current victory against Arecibo on the road.
